IRRITEC, in collaboration with GRUSI (Irrigation Group Studies) organized a Seminar / Conference which took place last Tuesday, July 7th  at the theater “Center of the Earth” at “Biodiversity Park” in EXPO 2015 in Milan. Many participants and speakers who have switched to sieve the end of 2014 with specific data and interesting about the world with more attention to drip irrigation system.

After a break work resumed with Stefano Anconelli (Consorzio Emilia Romagna and Bologna University) on “Drip irrigation in ultra low delivery rate: technique and results.” Later it was the turn of Professor Guido D’Urso (Naples University Federico II) with “The new services to enterprise-scale irrigation and the consortium and the guidelines of the European Union”. Marcella Giuliani (University of Foggia) was responsible for the “Role of agriculture in the preservation of water resources: water saving techniques in water reuse” while Antonio Lonigro (University of Bari) gave a report on “Irrigation with treated wastewater on soil and vegetable crops in succession. ” The closure of the work was entrusted to Giovanni Battista Chirico (University of Naples Federico II) with “Use of plastic films photoselective water saving” and Eugenia Monaco (CNR ISAFOM, Ercolano, NA) on “Monitoring and control of irrigation in greenhouse “.

The realization of such an ambitious idea is entrusted to a body, the Consortium for remediation of the second degree for the Canale Emiliano Romagnolo, who is responsible for the design, construction and management of the system; It is instead entrusted to consortia associated with the distribution of irrigation water resource in the territory, according to water allocations assigned to them. Still fall between the institutional tasks of the Consortium activities of study, research and technical assistance for the optimal use of water resources in a sustainable development framework.
